Digital Badges and Credentials

The CSU Office of the Chancellor awards digital badges, certificates and credentials to participants who have completed workshops, professional development courses, and/or sponsored conferences.  These credentials signify that recipients have successfully completed programs and/or courses by meeting verified earning criteria.

Issuing Badges/Credentials

Canvas Course Issued Credentials

Canvas Credentials is integrated with the Chancellor's Office Systemwide Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). Badges and credentials can automatically be awarded to participants meet specific earning criteria in courses that are hosted through the CO Canvas instance.

Manually Issued Credentials

Badges and Credentials can also be issued outside of the Canvas LMS. ​
